Feedback after your attempt
The dog responded quickly to the cue and lowered the hindquarters cleanly. The chest stays well lifted with good balance along the vertical line.
Hold the sit for at least 2 continuous seconds as required. Avoid letting the hind legs stretch too far back during the sit for a more compact posture.
1) Hold a treat in front of the muzzle and move it slowly down and slightly back until the dog sits; mark with the cue only when the hindquarters touch the ground. 2) Don’t lift the treat right after the sit: keep your hand steady near the muzzle for 2–3 seconds before rewarding to reinforce duration. 3) If the dog drops the chest too low or lies flat, use a higher lure and bring it slightly toward the chest to encourage the chest to stay lifted.

Amico Fido Academy is a digital training path inside the Amico Fido app. It guides you through exercises ordered by level: you learn fundamentals (attention, recall, leash skills, and more) with clear explanations and concrete goals for each lesson. It is built for people who want to practise at home, without pressure, using a structured method that respects both the dog’s and the owner’s learning pace.
How a lesson works
Each lesson follows a simple flow so you stay focused on results. 1) Example video — See how to perform the exercise: posture, timing, and useful cues. 2) Your recording — Film a short clip while you try with your dog, directly in the app. 3) Feedback and tips — Get a review with strengths and targeted suggestions for your next attempt. You can repeat a lesson whenever you want until you feel ready to move to the next level.
Levels, progress, and daily training
The path is organised in levels: you unlock new lessons as you complete previous ones, so skills build in a logical order without skipping important steps. You earn experience (XP) by completing activities and keep a training streak to stay consistent. Daily “hearts” limit how many feedback attempts you can send in one day: this encourages quality practice, prevents overuse of the service, and keeps AI usage sustainable for the whole community.
Access with Amico Fido Club
Amico Fido Academy is a premium feature included in the Amico Fido Club subscription. The Club supports ongoing development: what you already use for free stays free; bigger new capabilities — like the Academy — are for members who want to support Amico Fido. If you are already a Club member, you will find the Academy in the app along with other benefits (profile badge, exclusive tools, and more). If not, you can subscribe from the app when you are ready.
Artificial intelligence for training
Analysis uses AI models trained to pick up useful signals in the clip you send: your dog’s position, response timing, owner cues, and other context relative to the lesson goal. The system never replaces a professional dog trainer or a vet: it is practical support for home practice, fixing common mistakes, and seeing what to improve between attempts. For serious behaviour issues or risky situations, always contact a professional.
Data, video, and privacy
Content you upload for lessons is processed according to Amico Fido’s privacy policy and applicable law (including GDPR). We use what is needed to generate feedback and improve the service within the limits described in the app and on the website.
